KENSINGTON - Four unanswered second-period goals sparked the Kensington Club/Clark Insurance Granites to a 5-1 victory over the Wellington Arsenault Fish Mart Flyers on Monday night.
The Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League played at the Community Gardens.
After the first period ended in a 1-1 tie, the Granites closed out the game's scoring in the middle frame.
Jasun Campbell had two goals and two assists to lead the Granites. Andy Ramsay, Ronnie Pineau and Dale Dickieson added single markers, with assists credited to Trevor Whelan, Kirk MacPhee, Darren Gallant, Andrew Hayes, Johnathan Doiron and Colin McCardle.
Cory Ross, assisted by Joel Arsenault and Chris Miller netter the lone Flyers' tally.
Winning goaltender was Matt Dawson and John MacLellan took the loss. Kensington outshot Wellington 35-21.
Referee Mike Annear assessed 10 of 12 minors against the Granites. Each team also received four fighting majors and four game misconducts.
