O'LEARY - The O'Leary Guardian Pharmacy Maroons outscored the Alberton Elmsdale Corner Gas Regals 7-6 on Saturday night.
The O'Leary Community Sports Centre was the site of the Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League contest.
Shawn MacMillan (2), Darryl Donahue (1-2), Mitch Betts (1-1), Andre Howard (1-1), Mike Adams and Kyle Cooke scored for the Maroons. Lucas Verret (2), Kory Cooke (2), Justin Gorrill and Simon Smallman were credited with helpers.
Chris Avery (1-1), Alex MacDonald (1-1), Chad Rennie (1-1), Donald Stewart, Mike O'Meara and Garrett Lewis answered for the Regals. Kyle Fraser (2) and Tyson MacNeill chipped in with other assists.
Period leads
The Maroons held period leads of 2-1 and 6-4.
Derek Fitzpatrick earned the goaltending win and Mitchell Gordon took the loss.
Each team was whistled for seven minor penalties, three fighting majors and three game misconducts.
