Home team hopes to rebound from season-debut defeat
ALBERTON - Tyne Valley will provide the opposition for the Alberton Elmsdale Corner Gas Regals' home opener tonight.
Game time at the Jacques Cartier Arena is 8:00p.m.
The Regals opened the Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League season on the road Saturday, losing to the O'Leary Maroons, and they're hungry for a win in front of a home crowd.
Regals general manager Doug Gallant is confident the 2008-09 edition of his team will be a hit with the fans this season.

Offence
The Regals are looking for goal scoring output from veterans like Chris Avery, Mitch Hardy and Travis Mallet.

Mitch Gordon will share the netminding duties with Kendall Palmer.
Palmer had stints with the Kensington Granites and in the Southern New Brunswick Senior Hockey League last season.
John Rochford and David Gordon are coaching the Regals. Gallant shares management duties with team President Craig Oliver.
