TIGNISH - The Tignish Aces outscored the Tyne Valley Tornadoes 4-3 in the third period en route to a 6-4 win in Easy-Stow Senior hockey League action here at Credit Union Arena recently.
Ryan Kitchen (2-1), Kenneth Gaudet (1-1), Jason Hackett (1-1), Kramer Perry and Kendall Hackett scored for the Aces. Shawn Shea, Aldon Gaudet and Aaron hogan added assists.
Adam Ballum (1-1), Matthew Yeo, Colin Arsenault and Chris Ellis contributed Tyne valley's goals. Colin MacArthur (3), Parry Grigg (2), and Jeremy Martin were credited with helpers.
The Aces led 2-1 after the first and second periods.
Winning goaltender was Troy Ellsworth and Nick Heer took the loss.
Penalties
Referee Steven Green called four minors, tow fighting majors and tow game misconducts against Tyne Valley. Tignish received nine minors, tow fighting majors, three game misconducts and one 10-minute misconduct.
