    O'LEARY --
The O'Leary Guardian Pharmacy Maroons are set to begin the 2008-09 Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League season here Saturday night.

The Maroons will host the Alberton-based Elmsdale Corner Gas Regals at the O'Leary Community Sports Centre. The opening faceoff is set for 7:30p.m.

The Maroons have a few roster changes coming into this season that differ from last season. Starting in goal, Curtis Reilly is back and Derek Fitzpatrick is set to return after being sidelined with a injury for all of last season.
Also competing for a spot between the pipes for the maroons is goaltender Nick DesRoche.

On defence, veteran Darren Hutchinson, David Sweet, Just Gorrill, and Steven Stewart are set to return, with former Maroon Neil Boulter and new comer Lucas Verret round out the blue-line unit.

Up front, the Maroons have 8 returnees in Steven and Simon Smallman, Andre Howard, Darcy Harris, Joeseph MacDougall, Darryl Donahue, Kyle Cooke and Shawn MacMillan. Joining them up front are a pair of rookies, former Summerside Western Capital Kory Cooke and Mitch Betts.

Elmsdale has also undergone some roster changes for the upcoming campaign, but will surely be as strong as ever.

The Maroons appreciate the fan support they have received last season and are hoping for a good crowd tonight.
