ALBERTON - Tonight's Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League contest could very well be a first-round playoff preview.
The fourth place Elmsdale Corner Gas Regals will play host to the fifth place Tignish Perry's Construction Aces at the Jacques Cartier Arena. Action is set to get underway at 7:45p.m.
The Regals have a 4 - 0 (won - lost) record against the Aces this season, and they would very much like to add another win and improve their chances of moving up to third place in the standings. A win is important to the host team for another reason.
"We took two poundings in a row," acknowledged Regals manager Doug Gallant. "That's enough for us."
Good fan support for their game against their West Prince rival would help turn things around, Gallant admitted.
