ALBERTON - That much anticipated Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League encounter at the Jacques Cartier Arena between last year's finalists is set for Monday at 7:45p.m.
The Elmsdale Corner Gas Regals were supposed to host the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces for the first time this season on December 17th, but a winter storm delayed the contest.
Despite a nearly two-week lay-off, Regals manager Doug Gallant believes his team will be ready. "I think we should be alright," he commented.
The Regals know the Aces will be out to avenge a 5-3 loss to the Regals in Tignish earlier this season, but Gallant is sure his team is even more interested in erasing the memory of losing last years final series to the Aces.
The Regals have strengthened their line-up in recent weeks by acquiring defenseman Andy Luttrell. They have also welcomed back one of their most prolific goal-scorers ever, Kyle Fraser.
