TIGNISH - The Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League's defending champions, the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces, find themselves in unfamiliar territory heading into tonight's game with the Kensington Club/Clark Insurance Granites.
The Aces are well back of the first-place Granites, and Tignish team captain Gary McRae admits this would be the perfect time to turn things around. The Aces host the Granites at the Tignish Credit Union Arena at 8:15p.m.
Troy Ellsworth will get the start in goal for the Aces.
McRae is pleased to welcome veteran coach Stevie Hogan back behind the bench. The Aces also welcome home defenceman Davy Callaghan, who was working in Kansas.
The Aces will have to slow down the fast and youthfull Granites, acknowledges McRae.
