KENSINGTON - The Kensington Club/Clark Insurance Granites scored six third period goals en route to trimming the Tignish Aces 10-2 recently in the Granites Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League home opener.
The opening game for both teams in the Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League was played at the Community Gardens in Kensington.
Jasun Campbell scored two goals and added three assists to led he Granites attack.
Andrew Hayes (2), Jonathan Doiron (1-3), Mark gregory (1-1), Naythan Praught (1-1), Dale Dickenson (1-1), Ronnie Pineau and Kirk MacPhee also found the back of the net.
Darren Gallant (2), Jonathan Cameron (2), Craig Warrick and Colin McCardle were credited with assists.
Jonathan Perry and Jason Hackett replied for the Aces, who received single helpers from Jeff Keough, Ryan Kitchen, Ivan Gaudet and Josh Gaudet.
The Granites led 3-0 after one period and 4-1 at the end of 40 minutes.
Winning goaltender was Tim MacPhee, Suffering the loss for Tignish was Troy Ellsworth. Overall the Granites outshot the Aces 38-35.
