TIGNISH - The Tignish Aces scored in the final seconds of regulation to tie the game and then capped a 5-4 come from behind victory over the Kensington Club/Clark Insurance Granites minutes into overtime recently.
The Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League game was played at the Credit Union Arena in Tignish.
Jason Hackett (1-2) scored with 6.1 seconds left to send the game into overtime and Jeff Keough, who had two goals and two assists, netted the winning goal with 2:25 left showing on the clock.
Also scored
Jason Gallant and Davy Callaghan also scored for the Aces, who received other assists from Aldon Gaudet (2), Sandy Shea (2) and Aaron Hogan.
Johnathan Doiron (2-1), Mark Gregory (1-2) and Trevor Whalen (1-1) answered for the Granites, who held period leads of 2-1 and 3-2, Andy Ramsay (2) and Darren Gallant added Helpers.
Troy Ellsworth earned the goaltending win and Matt Dawson took the loss.
The Aces, who also received one game ejection for three stick infraction, were assessed eight of the game's 10 minor penalties.
