ALBERTON - The Elmsdale Corner Gas Regals overcame a 4-2 deficit after one period of play to edge the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces 6 - 5 Wednesday night.
The Jacques Cartier Arena was the host site of the Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League contest.
Garrett Lewis (2), Chris Avery (1-2), Pat Turkot (1-2), Adam Smallman and Donald Stewart scored for the Regals, who rallied to tie the game 4 - 4 after 40 minutes. Mitchel Hardy, Michael O'Meara and Tyson McNeill chipped in with assists.
Josh Gaudet (2-1), Joey Keough (2) and Jason Hackett replied for the Aces.
Sandy Shea, Ricky hackett, Jason Gaudet, Ivan Gaudet and Trevor Kinch added helpers.
Mitchell Gordon earned the goaltending win and Jonathan Gaudet took the loss.
The Aces were whistled for five minors, one fighting major and one game misconduct. The Regals picked up three minor infractions.
