ALBERTON - The Alberton Elmsdale Corner Gas Regals exploded for six second period goals en route to a 7-4 triumph over the Evangeline Arsenault Fish Mart Flyers recently.
THe Jacques Cartier Arena was the site of the Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League contest.
Jeff Costain (2-1), Garrett Lewis (1-2), and Patrick Turcotte (3 assists) all had three point nights to lead the Regals attack. Chris Avery (1-1), Morgan DesRoches (1-1), Travis Mallett (1-1) and Kenzie Horne also scored. Jordan Coughlin added a single helper.
Jonathan Arsenault (2), Shawn Bernard and Joel Arsenault contributed Evangeline's goals. Shawn Arsenault, Matthew Richard, Pierre Richard, Jamie Caissie and Nicholas Arsenault chipped in with single helpers.
The Flyers led 1-0 after one peroid and the regals were in front 6-3 following 40 minutes of action.
Winning goaltender was Kendall Palmer and John MacLellan suffered the loss.
Each team was assessed four minor penalties.
