KENSINGTON - The Kensington Club/Clark Insurance Granites will host the O'Leary Guardian Pharmacy Maroons here at Community Gardens on Wednesday night.
The Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League contest will get underway at 8:00p.m.
This will be the third meeting of the year between the two teams and if the previous two games were any indication, this should be a barn-burner. The Maroons won both head-to-head meetings by one goal in very entertaining games.
The last meeting ended 5-4 as the Granites failed to tie the game on a late charge. This game also ended with some bad blood in the final seconds between the two teams, setting the stage for Wednesdays game.
Both teams are currently battling for first place and every game is of great importance from here on out.
Tim MacPhee, who is coming off his best game of the year so far in a 2-1 road win over Elmsdale last Wednesday, will get the start in goal for the Granites.
