O'LEARY - Three players recorded four points to lead the O'Leary Guardian Pharmacy Maroons to a 5-4 decision over the Kensington Club/Clark Insurance Granites on Saturday night.
The Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League contest was played at the O'Leary Community Sports Centre.
Kory Cooke and Darcy Harris each had two goals and two assists while Andre Howard added four assists for the Maroons. Simon Smallman also scored while Darryl Donahue and Neil Boulter added singles helpers.
Andrew Hayes (1-1), Kirk Johnson, Jasun Campbell and Kirk MacPhee answered for the Granites.
Ronnie Pineau (3), Johnathan Doiron (2), Ben Ramsay and Naythan Praught chipped in with helpers.
Period scores
The teams were tied 1-1 after the first period and O'Leary led 5-3 following 40 minutes.
Derek Fitzpatrick earned the goaltending win and Tim MacPhee took the loss.
Referee Steven Green called 14 of 21 minor penalties against the Maroons. Each team also received one 10-minute misconduct.
