KENSINGTON - Four different players scored for the Kensington Club/Clark Insurance Granites in a 4 - 1 victory over the O'Leary Guardian Pharmacy Maroons recently.
The Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League contest was played at the Community Gardens in Kensington.
Kirk MacPhee (1-1), Trevor Whelan, Mark Paynter and Dale Dickieson found the back of the net for the Granites, who scored three unanswered third-period goals.
Ben Ramsay, Steven Barlow, Jonathan Cameron and Andrew Hayes drew single helpers.
Darcy Harris, assisted by Kory Cooke, netted O'Leary's lone goal.
The Maroons led 1 - 0 after the first period and the teams went into the second intermission tied 1 - 1.
Overall, the Granites outshot the Maroons 40 - 37. Tim MacPhee earned the goaltending win and Curtis Reilly took the loss.
Referee Wayne Doyle assessed 11 of 14 minor penalties against the Maroons. Each team picked up two fighting majors and two game misconducts.
