The Kensington Club/Clark Insurance Granites notched a 7 - 3 victory over the Tyne Valley Drug Mart Tornadoes, while the O'Leary Guardian Pharmacy Maroons beat the Tignish Perry's Construction Aces 7 - 4 last night (Friday). Both winners in the Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League games were the visiting teams.
In Tyne Valley, Andrew Hayes was the star, scoring a hat trick for the Granites. Johnathan Doiron, Jon Clark, Dale Dickieson (1-1) and Trevor Whelan (empty net) scored Kensington's other goals.
In Tignish, the Maroon's were led by Jeff MacIsaac who scored a pair (2-1). Andre Howard (1-1), Scott Bernard, Kory Cooke (1-2) and David Sweet scored their other goals.
Aces' top scorer was Sandy Shea, who netted two, with others coming from Jeff Keough and Ricky Hackett.
