KENSINGTON - Kory Cookes four points sparked the O'leary Maroons to a 4-3 victory over the Kensington Club/Clark Insurance Granites on Wednesday night.
The Easy-Stow Senior Hockey League game was played before 225 fans at Community Gardens.
Cooke scored a hat trick and set up Andre Howard's game winning goal on the power play with 7:16 left in the third period. The goal gave O'Leary a 4-2 lead.
Howard also added two assists for three points while Neil Boulter and Darcy Harris added single helpers.
Naythan Praught (1-1), Kirk MacPhee and Mark Gregory replied for the Granites.
Jasun Campbell, Ben Ramsay, Dale Dickieson and Andrew Hayes earned assists.
O'Leary led 1-0 after one period and the teams were tied 1-1 after 40 minutes.
Winning goaltender was Curtis Reilly and Tim MacPhee took the loss.
